For security reasons, there are restrictions on how you can spend NX. Each game has its own specific set of restrictions. Below are the restrictions for Mabinogi, MapleStory, and Vindictus.

Mabinogi
When you buy NX for the first time, and certain criteria are met, a 4-day restriction timer starts on the account from which you purchased the NX.
If you purchase an item in the Cash Shop anytime during this 4-day period, your account is restricted from performing some trade-related actions in-game. You are immediately notified in-game if you initiate any restricted trade actions.
This trade restriction is removed automatically after 4-days have elapsed from the time of your first NX purchase.
MapleStory
When you create a new account, a 7-day restriction timer starts on the account that prevents you from trading items with other players.
Additionally, when you buy NX for the first time a 4-day timer starts on the account from which you purchased the NX.
If you purchase an item with special restrictions anytime during this 4-day period, a temporary trade restriction is immediately placed on your account. While this restriction in effect, you cannot trade or drop items from characters on the account, and you cannot gift items to another account through the Cash Shop.
This trade restriction is removed automatically after 4-days have elapsed from the time of your first NX purchase.
Example
If you buy NX for the first time on Monday and purchase an item with special restrictions from the Cash Shop on Tuesday, then a temporary trade restriction is placed on your account until Friday, a full 4-days after you originally purchased the NX.
