Linking Nexon and Steam Accounts

Nexon Launcher and Steam are platforms that enable you to open and play games from one, central location.

To play Nexon games from Steam, you must link your accounts. If a linked account is not detected when you open a Nexon game from Steam, you are prompted to link an existing Nexon account, or you can create and link a new account.

Once linked, you are automatically logged in to your Nexon account when you play Nexon games from Steam. This lets you use the game characters and items that you have already collected and saves your game progression for a seamless and convenient gaming experience.

Important: If you have multiple Nexon accounts, carefully check that you link the correct account to Steam (the one with the desired game profile) before creating new characters and purchasing game items. Game characters and in-game purchases cannot be moved to, or merged with, other Nexon accounts.

Before you begin

To link a Nexon account (new or existing), you must first have:

• Created a Steam account (see Steam Support’s FAQ page)
• Installed the Steam client on your device (see Steam’s About page)
• Downloaded the Nexon game or games that you want to play

Link existing accounts

To link an existing Nexon account to Steam:

1. Log in to your Steam account from the Steam client.
   If you are prompted to authorize your device, follow the on-screen instructions.
   
   
   
2. From the game page, click Play to open your Nexon game of choice.
3. Click I Agree to accept the End User License Agreement (EULA) for the game, if prompted. (You only need to accept the EULA once after downloading a game.)
   
   
   
4. Log in to the Nexon account that you want to use when launching the game from Steam. You can use your email address or a social media account.
5. Follow any on-screen instructions, as needed for the type of log in that you selected.
6. Click Yes, to allow User Access Control (UAC) permissions, if prompted.
   
   
   To bypass this prompt in the future, run the game as an administrator on your computer. For more information, see Running games as an administrator.

The game now opens and you are ready to play using characters and items from your Nexon account.

When you access the game again from Steam, you are automatically logged in with your linked account.

Create and link new accounts

To create and link a new Nexon account to Steam:

1. Log in to your Steam account from the Steam client.
   If you are prompted to authorize your device, follow the on-screen instructions.
2. From the game page, click Play to open your Nexon game of choice.
3. Click I Agree to accept the End User License Agreement (EULA) for the game, if prompted. (You only need to accept the EULA once after a downloading a game.)
4. Do one of the following:
   • In Email Address, type the email that you want to use for your Nexon account.
     
     
     
   • Select a social media account, and then follow the on-screen instructions.
     
     
     
5. Agree to the terms of use, and then click Save and Continue.
   
   
   
6. Enter the email verification code, and then click Verify, if prompted.
7. Click Yes, to allow User Access Control (UAC) permissions, if prompted.
   To bypass this prompt in the future, run the game as an administrator on your computer. For more information, see Running games as an administrator.

A basic Nexon account is created. The game now opens and you are ready to play.

Note: You will need to set a password for this account from either the Launcher or Nexon Home (Nexon.com), which you can do any time.

When you access the game again from Steam, you are automatically logged in with your linked account.
