Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) helps to secure your account by requiring you to enter a verification code each time you log in. To bypass the need for this code for 60 days, you can create a trusted device list.
A trusted device is a device that you know and use frequently, such as your personal mobile phone, tablet, or home computer. When you log in from a trusted device you are not prompted for a code, while any log in attempt from a non-trusted device requires verification.
This article describes how to view and manage a trusted device list for your account.

- Renaming trusted devices

Adding trusted devices
If you’ve enabled 2FA, there are two ways that you can add your current device to your trusted device list, either during log in or from the Manage Trusted Devices page.
When logging in from a trusted device, you will not need a verification code until the device’s trust expires in 60 days. You can renew an expired trust as often as desired and you can also revoke a trust at any time (see Removing trusted devices).

- Enter your verification code to complete logging in.
Your device is now trusted for the next 60 days.

- From your account menu, click Account Settings.
- Select Password & Security.

To confirm your identity, a verification code is sent to your mobile phone. If using the Authenticator App, enter that 6-digit code instead. - Enter the verification code.
The Manage Trusted Devices page is displayed. - Click Add This Device.

Viewing current and expiring trusts
To help you monitor the status of your trusted devices, some of the information that appears on the Manage Trusted Device page is color coded.
In the Date Added column, dates for trusts that:
- Are current appear light gray.
- Will expire within 10 days appear yellow.
- Will expire within 5 days appear red.
- Have expired no longer appear on the list.
For expiring trusts, hover over the date to view a tooltip with the actual days remaining.
If you want to renew a device’s trust early, you must first revoke the trust by removing the device from the list, and then add the device to the list again.
